25 hours and still awake !

Yep thats right. I have been up for 25 hours now! Its amazing how we can do stuff like this for our kids ! God has given me the strength to stay up in the PICU. She will be released from the PICU this morning sometimes and will be moved to the Ped. Unit! Shes been crying for apple juice and coke so maybe thats a good sign. Maybe she will drink today and eat some liq. diet. If she does we get to go home depending on kk. She cried to the nurse telling her she wants to go home NOW. poor baby ! She was just given more meds for pain!

    Well I was just about to text you to see how she's doing but being you were up at 5:30 I'll wait in case you did get some sleep! Where is mom sleeping? Asking for drink, I assume, is a good sign! Hopefully you can get your baby girl home soon!!!!!

    Carrie mom stayed at a hotel there. My heart just breaks for her!

    That is fantastic thats KK is wanting to drink already--yay!!! I don't know if going home just yet is a good idea, I would hate for you to go home and have problems and end up back at the hospital a day later. I know it stinks to be there and that KK would feel better at home--but at home she would be up playing instead of resting. The last thing you need is for her to fall down and re-injure her mouth on accident or to start running a fever--that would not be good. I'm sure that you've already thought of these things too--sorry, I just want you all to be safe and the best thing for KK, so you can tell me to hush lol. (heart) Jen
